Christmas 2008

We all headed to Mom and Dad's the Sunday before Christmas to celebrate together. We had such a wonderful day just hanging out and enjoying the holiday.

Mom says that until she gets a grandkid we have to keep opening our stockings on the floor...

And through all the hubbub of the coming baby, we are also preparing for a wedding. We are so excited for Day and Halley.

And we have another little bundle of joy on the way... Mike and Amanda are expecting in August '09.

28 Weeks is a Chinese Cabbage

Baby Canterbury is equal in weight to a Chinese cabbage -- about 2 1/4 pounds. (Length: almost 15 inches, from head to heel.)

27 Weeks is Cauliflower

Baby Canterbury is as hefty as a head of cauliflower, weighing in at almost 2 pounds. (Length: about 14 1/2 inches.)

Decking the Halls

Our first Christmas as a married couple. We wanted to do a real tree and so the adventure begins...

We went to a local Christmas Tree farm in Granville and picked out a pre-cut tree. It was so cold we didn't want the experience of cutting down our own. And the winner is...

We used old school lights and garland for our tree. We wanted to remember the days when we were little. We love it!

Baby Shower - Gardner

I had no idea the girls at work were throwing a surprise baby shower. Colleen and Nan had me believing they were taking me out for a farewell dinner and we were on our way out when SURPRISE... I walked right into a baby shower! Come to find out, the event had been planned for weeks and not a single person let on! Brandon even knew 3 weeks earlier!!! I am surrounded by amazing secret keepers.
